Things that I didn’t know in Job Prep Ⅱ

I learned job interview skills from Darren. I realized that there were a lot of difference between interview in Korea and Western culture. Also there were some tips that I thought ‘It’s trivial.’ At first I will tell you some differences between Western & Korea. The interviewee in Korea is really conservative and they think their prestige in lower than interviewer. I thought it’s natural, but in Western, Confidence & Personal profession is far more significant. For instance, Western people do not bow. I was really surprised. They just shake their hand. Firmly, with proud smile. Some virtue that I thought modesty does not exist. Secondly, Appearance was pretty critical point in interview. The appearance what I’m talking includes fashion, hair, makeup, expression, etc. Darren said ‘Though personal character is really important in western interview but westerner prefer conservative dressing.’ So, he recommended me gray of dark navy suit except black because it black suit brought an image of funeral. Also, short and neat hair is most popular style to interviewers and Darren emphasized the importance of nail cleaning which can make unpleasant impression. In addition in women’s case makeup is really important. Too much powder or stink perfume one of most easy point to commit. As a future global leader, I learned lots of information about interview. I’m sure that someday, this Job Prep course will be a great help.

I surveyed my classmates’ feeling when they did interview with Darren.I did interview at first in my class D. So I was nervous and worried. But I did my best, and got a satisfactory score. My mistake was not preparing a question. In addition, I didn't do eye contact well. But I'll be likely to do better interview in the next time because of that interview.

Ji-eun’s impressive question is ‘why should we hire you?’. And she answered ‘Because I’m positive person,,,’.

Hye-seong said that not to remember appropriate vocabulary is sorry.

Hee-yeon’s sorry thing is no eye contact.

Ji-man’s regretful thing is just saying “Okay, bye.”Mi-so said the thing she did well was Eye contact.

Byung-woo’s remorseful thing is no confidence and preparation.

Jae-hyun’s repentant thing is no handshake.

An-na shook hands and introduced well.

Ka-young had no confidence and Eye contact.

Jae-seung had a good eye contact.

Several tips on preparing for a job interview After you sent cover letter and resume, you need to have a job interview. In this class, we learned a lot about the job interview skills. It is absolutely critical to be fully prepared before the interview. if you do not want to get stuck in the interview. First of all, you have to do your homework before you go to the interview. Research the company beforehand. Darren (teacher) emphasized the importance of the preparation and research because we don’t know what they are going to ask. And the more you are prepared, the more likely you are to have confidence. Second, you have to know where you are going.. cause it is very important to get the interview place on time. If you are late, you are going to give them a bad image. Hopefully, get there earlier than you are suppose to be. So that you are not going to be nervous. Third, conduct a mock interview with another person. Prepare answers to common questions that the interviewer is likely to ask. Forth, secure your references. Find at least 3 people- former supervisor, colleagues, or instructors. Be sure that the the references have to speak highly or you

Talking, Soloing, Clubbing

I love to talk. I think there is a tacit misconception, men don't like to talk. That's definitely wrong. In my case, talking is most effective way to relieve my stress, more than doing exercise or eating or sleeping or playing video games. Calling my favorite friend and leaving for somewhere quiet place and beginning to twitter. Oh, just imaging the situation makes me excited.



I love soloing. I don't know exactly whether 'soloing' is right word or not but the activity that I like and do usually is 'soloing' It gives me a lot of lessons. In my high school, I was literally sensitive. Every surroundings make me angry, annoyed. That's why I started soloing. It's hard to say... In private opinion, If I hang around alone for 5 hours, I feel 5 hours amounts of happiness but if I hang around with 2 or 3 friends of mine, I feel 2/3 or 3/4 amounts of happiness. I know it sounds weird but that what I feel. Still now I often go out alone to refresh my mind.




















I love clubbing. The first clubbing in my life was March 2010 with my university friends. At first, I was embarrassed because I had a little conservative mind like clubbing is one of adult culture but at that times my foreign professor accompanied, so I could go anyway. Are you asking me how it was? It was literally heaven. I could throw away my everything. Music is coming thorough my ears and stage was trembling because of powerful beat. In other words, I feel ecstasy from my head to my feet. As my knowledge about music become wide, I can choice an appropriate club for each day when I go club. House & Electronic is my favorite. Why? Lyric is not necessary to shake my body.

Can 'True Friendship' exist between ♂&♀?

In our D class, 9 people said true friendship can exist between man and woman, 2 people answered it's impossible. Personally my opinion is "Man and Woman cannot be a friend" Please do not regard me as a kind of psyco or bad-minded guy. There is a reason that I think like this. Frankly, I've never met girlfriend until now but I know many friends whoes gender is female. Whenever I get along with them, I wanna show only positive things about me like dress or habit or appearance (sometimes how hard I tried, I can't improve it.) and so on. I mean I become defensive. I can not tell my troubles to girls, so If you ask me how many female soulmate do I have, my answer would be 'zero' Sometimes I feel really lonely because none of my female friends understand my question give a solution to me. Especially in this case I urgently feel 'Damn, I need some female friends' Brielfly, what I want to talk is my state of contradiction, feel nervous in front of girls, but need girls who can listen my troubles. If there is a beautiful lady who can teach me how I can make friendly, do not hesitate. Come to 2014. Call me 010 2500 2978. Right? Or you can be my first female freind if you want. do not pity me. I must me happy then. :) And, Talking is my favorite activity. When the atmosphere of talking is getting serious, ah...how can I express that feeling...I become very very thoughful and I praise myself, "How mature I am! I know a lot of things. wow." Don't laugh at me. I'm serious.

It's rainy continuosly these days. And my English Camp is speed toward to end.
OMG. Really x2, Time flies liked an arrow. Already, I'm worrying about my new
lovely freind because I won't be able to meet these guys when I wanna contact them.
They said, "We can contact whenever you want." but I'm still living in grief. According to
their saying, I don't have to feel grief but I do.
Just one week left. I"ll spend all of my time with friends and teachers as long as I can.
